Pastor Nami was born and raised in South Korea within a devout Christian family that belonged to a Korean Methodist Church.

After the death of her mother from cancer, she went to Boston and eventually received her Master of Divinity degree at Boston University School of Theology and actively engaged with a United Methodist Church in the area, where she served in Sunday School ministry.   Her previous appointment before coming to us was as senior pastor at the UMC of Lenox, MA.
