  • Rev. Nami Yu

    Pastor

    Pastor Nami was born and raised in South Korea within a devout Christian family that belonged to a Korean Methodist Church. 

     

    After the death of her mother from cancer, she went to Boston and eventually received her Master of Divinity degree at Boston University School of Theology and actively engaged with a United Methodist Church in the area, where she served in Sunday School ministry.   Her previous appointment before coming to us was as senior pastor at the UMC of Lenox, MA.

     

    In addition to her love for her two cats, she also enjoys playing the piano and violin and also singing for her personal worship.  Engaging in music ministry holds great significance and meaning in her life.


  • Joyce Keyser

    Office Administrator

    Joyce has been the the Office Administrator for 23 years as of 2019.  She graduated from NH Technical College with an associates degree in Secretarial Sciences in 1981 and went on to run a local wholesale/retail business in Laconia for 17 years.  After her marriage in 1997 she left the world of business to come work at the church.  She is married to Jeff Keyser and they have one daughter.  She currently owns a farm stand called Shepherd's Hut Market and attends fairs and markets with her homemade sewn items, hand spun yarn, and food items.  When not working she enjoys reading.

     


  • Bonnie Weston

    Sunday School

         Bonnie is an elementary school teacher with a Master's Degree in Integration of the Arts from Plymouth State University.  She has been a member of the United Methodist Church for over 43 years and loves teaching children the stories of Jesus.  In Bonnie's spare time, she tutors elementary school students and leads a Bible Study at Golden View Health Care Center.  In the Fall Bonnie will be assisting her daughter, Amy, in teaching a Music Together Class for children ages birth-school age.


  • KAREN JORDAN

    MUSIC DIRECTOR

    Karen Jordan has directed the Wesley Choir and other music involved in the church.  She teaches singing and works with theater groups. 

  • Phil Breton

    Organist

    Phil is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education.

        Teaching experience includes: elementary classroom, elementary band for 31 years and private lessons for 35 years.  Phil was organist and choir director at First Congregational Church in Meredith, NH for 25 years prior to coming to First United Methodist Church.  As a busy musician, you will see him performing for local theater groups and the Lakes Region Symphony.
